book was never destroyed, many years ago it fell off a conveyor belt and someone forgot to put it back on.
big companies would hire destruction bins for things like financial records but every now and then odd things would pop up in them like sex toys, photos of execs banging secretaries, drug paraphernalia… you name it. CEOs must get bored sometimes.
