Not inherently. Any symbol or anything can be spoken of the same, neutral until given meaning. Meanwhile those doing innocuous things can be more easily identified by the symbols that they choose to use (regardless to the original or natural intent). I like your forward thinking, yet evil people are evil, symbols aside. That needs to be tackled and then we can be more concerned with repurposing symbols.
