Fun fact: If you're Rh negative and KNOW you are, it's not uncommon to just donate blood to yourself. Granted, in case of emergencies that is not feasible. Yet for standard operations, etc. that may require a transfusion in a worst case event yeah. A week or so before, you go in, give a little, come back and give a little more, whatever.
I don't know that every Rh negative person is trolling for blood and organs.
