Just so you know, all words meant something else in another language at another time…so not sure that is really a point with actual weight. It's actually interesting in that they identified the bodies which remained in stasis (from our vantage point) and those whose movement could be noticed over a specific time period.
Anyhow, what the word meant is interesting, but more for a linguist than a scientist
