The same investors that are behind the PC winning out over the Commodore Amiga platform. The Amiga could out-PC a PC and out-MAC a MAC, all at the same time while you did your thing on the Amiga platform.
Windows did not come close until it got to 3.11. Even then, it required more horsepower and still couldn't quite hang with the Amiga.
I never could figure out, at the time, why in the world that businesses went the PC and Mac route instead of the more advanced Amiga. But now I understand and know that THEY never really wanted us to get flying cars, either.
I also remember that C_A had offices at Microsoft in 1989. That's around the time my Red Pilling started.
