I think intent or what is in one's mind must be considered, after all you can do all the wonderful acts you want but if you do it for purely selfish reasons it is still not considered righteous by God's definition.
When I was 22 I had an abortion, due to sexual assault early on at about 8 weeks into the pregnancy, no one saw anything wrong with this due to the rape I endured. But I felt something deep in my soul, a sadness a guilt I mourned even though it was a violent act that created the child.
Four years later I found I was pregnant again, not planned but with someone I loved. I had that baby, almost lost my life and hers due to complications during delivery but she is alive and well and is a great young lady today.
Abortion is anti-life and anti-God I will agree. But we live in a society that allows it and circumstances sometimes dictate it.
Its not as black and white as some define it as.
