Ok I have been a good watchful normie. I went back to all the threads about “preparing for 3-4 weeks” Oct/November. I am not a person that gets motivated by likes such a Y2K crap etc…however I do feel concerned about this lasted message and how to proceed. I am not attempting to slide or shill, I actually had to look those meanings up. I have worked the last 4 nightshifts in a crazy life saving department called the ICU so I am playing catch up.
I hear Wal place has $20 water purification bottle and you can buy tablets also. But my main question to you anons is this: looters will come but for us rural folks we will be our own citizen protection. How do we get a radio? CB or Ham? Which is sufficient? Which is cheaper? So we can have some radio information? We are very far out and can manage - primitively speaking but no way to have updates like battery operated radio type devices. And we don’t even have an old radio. My entire little area will depend on this information bc we have @ 6 homes together out here and I AM the only one who believes and takes this to a serious level. I can’t even bring up the anon issues the are Trump MAGA but still sheep. I save lives every single day I work and lose a few along the way. I see death coming and help take that person back to health. But sometimes it’s tough to lose younger ones that are healthy or older ones who have touched you for days on end before “it” finally happens and you have to look their family in the eyes to see sorrow or pain. I lost 2 this past 24 hours. One family thanked us for our work and dedication and the other family nearly destroyed our unit before security could show up. Broken dishes flying, knocking down IV poles, threatening staff, beating on windows, and all in front of their 2-10 year old kids let in to say a finale goodbye.
So I am again sorry to post this here now. But if the shit hits the fan in Oct or November -? How can we communicate or get updates? On a budget? Or what about purchasing those MRE dehydrated things the army gives out? CB radio? What is ham radio? Etc. I do appreciate feedback.
