It doesn't matter that the NSA data is stored there. Uranium mined there, maybe. Mining the uranium for sale wasn't the actual crime. Taking bribes and so forth were the U1 crimes. I'd have to legal research that.

I don't think many of you understand that a grand jury does not decide guilt or innocence. They decide whether to indict someone. Indictments are great, but to prosecute, the venue requirement must be met. That's why the sealed indictments are not all listed in Utah. They are listed in the many federal jurisdictions across the U.S. This categorization is not meant to refer to where the charges originated, it shows where the criminal case is filed for future prosecution.
