>Or change laws that make it hard for people who want to grow their own food supply.

absolutely. it shouldn't be a crime to have chickens in the city. it should be a crime to stink up the whole neighborhood but not the act of having a chicken in the city.

absolutely. I would not mind being a natural/holistic teacher after the "event". I know too much the way it is and know how to find the info I need. It could be organized so much better of course- many people already working on stuff like that.

Too busy working 40 hours a week in a home for disabled people and cooking for them, then eating out all the time to give a shit about eating healthy.

And she's 225lbs and 5'4" so quite overweight too.

Dried a whole bunch of peppers last year and they never got used.

yeah I get so tired of all of it. could be canning salsa today but I don't want to do it by myself and my wife would get pissed if I asked my mom to come down and help.

Feels like it's time to get rid of the wife sometimes

>They say the best partners for savers (like me) are either savers or investors. Luckily for me I found a saver/investor and am so much happier now.

I've always been a saver BUT I will invest in things that hold their value long-term. Tools, used vehicles that hold their value (2005 prius bought for $2500 still worth that 1 yr later) and silver.

She has 110k in student loan debt she refuses to do anything about and we have 4.8k in cc debt that she won't help pay off even though she's making $20k a year that we don't NEED any of.

I have enough income to pay all the bills and live relatively comfortably, just not enough money to travel on a regular basis.

If it was up to me we'd be saving her money and either working with our vinyl cutter making crafts and/or pick up a commercial sewing machine and make things and do shows.

Can't make money without spending money and she has never understood that and gets pissed because I'm home a lot right now without handyman work to do. I can't do any fucking handyman work if I don't have the money for the gas to go to the job and buy the materials to get the job doneโ€ฆโ€ฆ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. >Being a stay at home Mom is torture for women if they donโ€™t feel appreciated by their Man. Buying a pretty dress, taking her out to eat, getting out of the house w friends, exerciseโ€ฆ..itโ€™s all crucial. Feeling like you have to beg for a reward can cut deep in the psyche. Iโ€™d rather work, make my own money, if my partner canโ€™t see how valuable I am to my family as a homemaker. MAKE SURE TO KNOW THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU MARRY, AND ESPECIALLY, HAVE CHILDREN!

good points anon!!!!!! thank you for your perspective!
