Why WOULDN'T the magicians invoke and bind that energy into a vessel already with the same name/frequency? Why wouldn't it be possible that his own C_A executed such 'torture'/spirit invocation on him themselves in the jungles of SEAsia? The same C_A that spawned from the OSS- steeped in the pursuit of occult knowledge and ancient magic (spirit invocation).
