Crooked Politicians are running a Homeless Exchange Program (theory)

So it’s been fairly well known for a while now that some local governments will solve their homeless problem by just buying them a ticket to somewhere else. I think it famously first started by sending them to Hawaii, and it sounds like a dick move.

But what started as trying to sweep the problem under the rug after Reagan/Bush closed all the nut houses, I think, has turned into another slush fund.

If you can make national if not international news with your homelessness problem, I bet you could convince your rich constituents to pay more in taxes for homeless shelters and assistance. And who is going to complain if you pocket the money? The homeless?

Why, for instance, would Denver (Mile-High City) have a huge homeless problem? Doesn’t exactly seem like an excellent climate for year-round outside living. It’s not, but it’s politicians are corrupt AF.

Homelessness can create many desirable problems for crooked politicians. It can destroy the value of certain areas so they can easily be bought on the cheap. It lowers the public standard for what is socially acceptable. It’s an unchecked flow of people, which can help hide trafficking.

If you can believe CA is starting their own fires to line their pockets, you can bet that these corrupt bastards are running a homeless exchange program with other states, so their corrupt buddies can get a slice of the slush.
