Ned Price In Detail
I've been wasting my time researching this guy–somebody's done an incredible job of gathering information already:
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/948282878152060935.html
It lists everything from his family to reviews posted by his Amazon account down to a traffic infraction.
Of particular interest:
>(49) His mentor was Jennifer Lynne Matthews, the chief of the Central Intelligence Agency base in Khost, Afghanistan.
>(51) Matthews was killed when a suicide bomber struck the Khost intelligence base on December 30, 2009.
I believe this incident shows up in Wikileak's Hillary collection; there might be some good info there.
>(52) At some point, Price was taken to a secure Central Intelligence Agency facility, where he watched[was subjected to] a videotaped interview with an investigator.
>(53) Price's trip to the facility was due to a discussion he had with an American scholar, quoted as part of his master's thesis research, which had caused concern for the Central Intelligence Agency.
Who was this scholar?
>(81) Price worked with Ben Rhodes to create an 'echo chamber' during the Obama Administration's nuclear negotiations with Iran.
>(82) As such, Price worked in a windowless downstairs office with Rhodes and Rumana Ahmed.
>(83) Price's role was also considered to be Rhodes' assistant.
>(84) Whenever Rhodes needed to have a specific message to be delivered, a barrage of Twitter messages would be sent out, followed by numerous telephone calls to people in the mainstream media.
>(85) Price understood the way how Ben Rhodes manipulated the mainstream media.
>(86) Price specifically understood how Twitter played a role in pushing any message from the Obama Administration into the public lexicon.
…and there you have it. It sounds like the press just gave this guy their twitter accounts so he could blast out bullshit, then he would call them and let them know their position.
