>‘The knight stands in front of the US flag in a defensive posture as to protect at all cost. The eagle on the chest is a symbol of both freedom and the United States of America. The sword is a message of tenacious, fierce focus with the claws representing extreme reach with global coverage.’
The Black Knight Satellite finally under surveillance? The military launches Top-Secret satellite into orbit
The top-secret satellite is believed to carry one of the largest space antennas that will intercept electronic signals from ships, aircraft, ground stations, and other satellites. However, the most controversial thing about the mission is the mission logo used by the National Reconnaissance Office: A Black Knight… “The Knight stands in front of the US flag in a defensive posture as to protect at all cost…” Many believe this is a tell-tale sign indicating the true purpose of the top-secret mission.
The mysterious satellite was sent into orbit on Saturday, carried by a Delta IV Heavy Rocket. The secret payload belongs to the National Reconnaissance Office, which picked a rather unusual mission emblem: A Black Knight.
Interestingly, as the world’s largest rocket launched from Cape Canaveral carrying the secret payload, the live feed from the launch was cut after six minutes in order to maintain the payloads secrecy.
Its real mission remains a profound mystery, and we can only guess what it will be doing in space. However, many have started speculating that the enigmatic logo chosen by the National Reconnaissance Office is a tell-tale sign that gives off the satellite’s true purpose in space: the study of the Black Knight Satellite.
The mystery satellite has been spotted by amateur astronomers over the trail of Malacca. According to sources, the secret payload belonging to the National Reconnaissance Office is, in fact, a ‘Mentor’ Satellite; wich will be used to pick u electronic signals.
According to the United Launch Alliance, the mission was ‘in support of national defense’.

As millions of people were watching the launch of the secretive ‘NROL-37’ mission for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), six minutes after launch, the live feed was cut. According to the CBS, the rocket may have in fact carried one of the most powerful surveillance satellites dubbed ‘Mentor’, which are able to pick up electronic signals from ships.
The NRO has not released any information about the mission or what the rocket was carrying into space.
