I think Leahy (unknowingly) just laid out exactly what's going to happen with his reference to Reagan and Rehnquist…. "Democrats and Republicans got together and asked the President to release the documents, and he did".
They're screaming for the release of the documents that are going to bury them!
The plan is brilliant!!!

Congressional Delegation To Visit Dominican Republic And Haiti During Congressional Recess
Peace Corps Director Will Join Group To Tour Project Aiding Rural Dominicans And To Commemorate Peace Corps’ 50th Anniversary
(FRIDAY, March 18) – Senator Patrick Leahy, chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Department of State and Foreign Operations, is heading a three-day congressional delegation that will visit the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The delegation leaves Monday and will return Wednesday while Congress is in recess.
Members of the delegation are Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.); Senator Kent Conrad (D-N.D.); Senator Kay Hagan (D-N.C.); Congressman Peter Welch (D-Vt.), and Congressman Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.).
The State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee handles the Senate’s work in writing the annual budget bills for the State Department, USAID, the Peace Corps and other foreign operations of the U.S. Government.
Peace Corps Director Aaron Williams will accompany the lawmakers to the Dominican Republic, where they will visit a Peace Corps project and a Peace Corps volunteer’s home and commemorate the Corps’ 50th anniversary. Williams himself had served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic.
The delegation will also meet with the president of the Dominican Republic and the prime minister of Haiti and with other government officials in both countries. In Haiti the delegation will arrive two days after the hotly contested run-off vote in the presidential election to discuss the electoral process and assess progress in relief and recovery efforts since last year’s earthquake, including housing reconstruction. They will visit a camp for Haitians displaced by the quake, a health clinic and school, a garment manufacturing business, a rehabilitation facility for amputees, and the central voting tabulation center.
