Syrian Air Defenses Down Several Missiles Fired by Israeli Warplanes – Reports

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) has reported about a missile attack on Hama and Tartus carried out by the Israeli Air Force. The latter, however, has not yet commented on the strike.

One person was killed and four others wounded in Israeli air strikes on a Hama suburb, Syrian national news agency SANA reported citing hospital officials.

Earlier, SANA reported that Syrian air defenses thwarted several rockets launched by Israeli planes in the Wadi al-Uyun region in Hama province and in Tartus. The state agency stated that military air defenses were used to confront several rockets fired by Israeli planes near Hama.

As the Al-Masdar media outlet reported, only five of the missiles had been intercepted. According to the media, the rockets were launched by Israel, targeting Hama. The media, however, have yet to precisely specify what objects were targeted by Israel in Syria.

It is still unknown whether the airstrikes were carried out in close proximity to the Russian naval support facility in Tartus.

Prior to that, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported, citing witnesses, about several explosions that were heard in the countryside of Hama province.

Earlier, a Syrian government TV station alleged that the explosions were an aggression.

On July 23, Israeli planes attacked positions in the province of Hama (220 km from Damascus) from Lebanon's airspace, causing no casualties. At the time, Syria's air defenses had managed to intercept three missiles.

On August 3, the Syrian military shot down an Israeli drone over the suburb of El-Kiswa in southwest Damascus.

Brett Kavanaugh’s Young Daughters Rushed Out After Chaos and Protests Erupt at Hearing

President Trump’s Supreme Court pick Judge Brett Kavanaugh testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday morning.

Democrats and protesters have interrupted the process for the first half hour.

Judge Kavanaugh has not even been sworn in yet!

It was all planned.

Democrats plotted the coordinated protest over the holiday weekend. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) led a phone call and Committee members are executing now, reported NBC’s Kasie Hunt.

Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s young daughters were present in the hearing room when the chaos erupted.

According to sources, Kavanaugh’s young daughters, Margaret, 13 and Liza, 10 were rushed out of the hearing by their mother, reported the Washington Examiner.

“It was very unpleasant for young children,” said the insider.

Senator Ted Cruz apologized to Kavanaugh Tuesday. “I’m sorry your daughters had to endure the political circus from this morning,” Ted Cruz said to Kavanaugh.

The Capitol Police say 22 people were arrested in total so far.

“Capitol Police now say that as of 10:19 a.m., 22 individuals have been arrested at the Kavanaugh hearing. The preliminary charge is D.C. Code § 22-1321 – Disorderly conduct,” reported NBC’s Frank Thorp.

‘Terrorists entrenched there’: Kremlin rebukes Trump’s warning against Idlib offensive

Trump’s warning against the Syrian operation in Idlib is “not a full, comprehensive approach” to the problem, the Kremlin’s spokesperson said, adding that a “terrorist nest” in Idlib is dangerous for the whole country.

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov was commenting on a tweet posted by US President Donald Trump on Monday, in which he urged Syrian President Bashar Assad not to “recklessly attack” Idlib, the last major city held by anti-government militants and terrorists. President Trump also issued a warning to Moscow and Tehran against making “a grave humanitarian mistake” by supporting the Syrian assault. “Don’t let that happen!” he said.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Peskov cautioned the US against “simply issuing warnings, without considering the very dangerous, negative potential for the whole situation in Syria.”

The case of Syria’s northwestern province remains an issue of “special concern” for Russia, Syria, and Turkey, Peskov said.

“A nest of terrorism has formed there. A quite large group of terrorists had entrenched there. This leads to general destabilization, and undermines the attempts to steer the situation to diplomatic and political settlement.”

Much of Idlib Province is controlled by an Al-Qaeda affiliate called Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). Among other issues, the presence of terrorists poses “a substantial threat” to the Russian Army’s outposts in Syria, Peskov told reporters. He said that the militants have used the province to launch numerous drone attacks on Khmeimim Air Base, which hosts Russian aircraft.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has recently said that terrorists in the area are simply holding civilians as “human shields.”

Moscow has repeatedly alerted the international community to the dangers of terrorist factions operating in and around Idlib, and that they are being supplied with weapons and munitions from abroad. For the past several weeks, the Russian Defense Ministry has been warning about the militants’ plans to stage a fake chemical attack in Idlib to frame the Syrian government.

Leaders from Russia, Iran, and Turkey are scheduled to meet on Friday in Tehran. They are expected to discuss the strategy for Idlib.

At the same time a Chinese-owned company operating in the Washington, D.C., area hacked Hillary Clinton’s private server throughout her term as secretary of state.

The Chinese government was obtaining Hillary Clinton’s emails in real time.

Her criminal behavior severely damaged US foreign policy.

And the FBI refused to act.

The Chinese government murdered or imprisoned 18-20 CIA sources from 2010 to 2012 while China was spying on Hillary’s private server.

But the deep state FBI is not interested in performing a damage assessment of Hillary Clinton’s private server.

Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch told Tucker Carlson last week that the FBI does not want to know the possible results of an internal investigation.

DOJ Blows Whistle on MUELLER; Illegally Threatened Flynn with New Indictment & Prison for Helping GOP Candidates

Justice Department officials are blowing the whistle on U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Now we know why Mueller has continually delayed Mike Flynn’s sentencing: To silence the retired General and keep the influential Conservative out of politics and the crucial midterm elections.

In May, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Flynn canceled a campaign appearance in Montana for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Troy Downing. Flynn cited an unspecified “family emergency,” as the reason for scrapping the appearance.

But that family ’emergency,’ according to well-placed sources in the Justice Department, was sparked by Mueller and his team’s illegal threats to indict Flynn — a second time — for obstruction of justice. What was Flynn’s supposed crime? Endorsing and campaigning for GOP candidates politically aligned with Trump. Flynn had just endorsed Congressional hopeful Omar Navarro in California and he planned to remain active in the run up to the 2018 midterms before Mueller illegally threatened the retired Army general, official said.

“Mueller threatened Flynn with new charges and prison time,” one Justice Department source said. “He claimed Flynn was trying to elect Trump-like candidates to secure himself a (trump presidential) pardon.

The tactics don’t sit very well with many (prosecutors) at Justice.”

That’s because Mueller’s tact was almost as absurd as it was illegal, according to Justice Department insiders who are now stepping forward to blow the whistle on the Special Counsel’s office.

The Special Counsel and his team have violated laws that far exceed the scope and range of the crime Flynn has plead guilty to.

“Just because you plead out to a felony does not mean you forfeit your Constitutional rights,” one Justice source said. “Mueller is abusing his position and manipulating Flynn.”

Flynn has plead out to a charge of lying to the FBI and awaits sentencing, which has been postponed by Mueller several times with little or no explanation.
