Q where is our savings safe?

Can we trust a CD in the bank? If the Treasury is a fraud will the government stand behind our savings?

My husband thinks I'm crazy but I don't want to loose our savings. I already got out of Amazon at 1400 and left so much on the table.

Can sleep just worrying that I'm going to loose everything.
