Debunking the new ABC/Washington Post poll that says "Democrats open up biggest lead in midterms since 2006".

1) The poll answers are manipulated based on "known population characteristics".

2) Only 25% of respondents self-identify as Republicans.

3) The poll was conducted the same week as the Manafort and Cohen legal issues were in the news. The poll also focused on the "harshness" of the treatment of illegal immigrants.

4) Donald Trump is the main issue of the midterms for 59% of respondents.

5) The Republican and Democrat candidates asked about are fantasy candidates.

6) Of these fantasy candidates, Republicans get 38% of the vote if the person answering the poll questions votes.

7) When called, the pollster asks for the youngest adult available to take the poll, which is not an accurate representation of the population.

8) Of those that were in touch with the needs of the American people the poll results are: R - 31%, Trump - 34%; and D - 40%
