Finland: Most ‘Migrant Crisis’ Arrivals Not Refugees, Are Economic Migrants

The majority of people who travelled to Europe in 2015 at the height of the continent’s Migrant Crisis had made the journey seeking better material living standards and did not fit the criteria to be refugees, Finland’s Prime Minister has said.

Speaking during an interview with Finnish public broadcaster YLE at the weekend, Juha Sipilä asserted that the mass influx of immigrants seen in 2015 and 2016 following Angela Merkel’s suspension of EU Dublin rules has “caused the recent unrest in Europe”, highlighting protests in Germany’s Chemnitz over murders by migrants.

“What made the situation so difficult is that the majority of these people are on the move because of economic reasons – not because they are fleeing war or personal persecution,” he argued, prompting outrage from Finland’s left.

“It’s very problematic that we have a Prime Minister who makes racist violence by the far-right legitimate by remarking that it’s because of ‘uncontrolled immigration’,” said Left Alliance deputy chairman Veronika Honkasalo, blasting the Prime Minister for “providing justification for racism”.

Pro-open borders NGOs including Save the Children were among voices calling the claim false along with “immigration researcher” Erna Bodström, who argued that around half of asylum claims made in European Union (EU) nations during 2016 and 2017 were successful after taking into account negative decisions which were eventually overturned by appeal.

The Finnish Green League’s Emma Kari, meanwhile, demanded Sipilä take back his remarks on the migrant influx, writing on social media that she “hoped the Prime Minister gave false information about asylum seekers by accident”.

“Comments such as this incite hatred against vulnerable people and are consequently outright irresponsible when coming from the Prime Minister. That’s why it’s crucial that Sipilä corrects his statement,” Kari posted to Twitter.

Rather than recanting his statements, however, the Finnish leader penned a blog post saying he was justified in drawing attention to the large proportion of economic migrants amongst those drawn to Europe who are claiming to be refugees, stating that while “helping one’s neighbour” is a duty close to his heart, “the task of the asylum system” is to help the people in most need.

Claiming immigrant communities “enrich our culture” and that they constitute “an important part of Finland’s vitality and success”, the Centre Party politician said the nation “has a responsibility” to help refugees.

But “the fact is that the majority of those who arrived in 2015 and during the crisis did not meet the criteria for asylum in Finland”, he continued, noting: “According to the statistics of the Finnish Immigration Service, approximately one third of asylum seekers entering Finland for the period 2015-2017 received a positive asylum decision.

“Approximately 44 per cent of the asylum seekers who came to Europe received a positive decision. That is, most of the respondents did not have grounds for obtaining asylum in Europe,” he said.

“Amongst such a large number of people, there are certainly a variety of causes for departure. In addition to war and persecution, there is also the desire for better living conditions.

“The is understandable. But the role of the asylum system is to help people who are vulnerable to particular oppression and disadvantage,” wrote the Finnish politician, who in 2015 demanded the whole country mobilise to show “solidarity” to the arriving third world migrants.

Sweden’s Anti-Immigration Party Set For Record Wins As Election Days Away

The far-right Sweden Democrats (SD) are heading to make the most gains and come in a close second.

A surge in populism has sent Sweden’s far-right Sweden Democrats (SD) Party surging in the polls leading up to the country’s September 9 election – placing them neck and neck with the Moderate party. The current ruling party, the Swedish Social Democrats (S), however, remain strongly in the lead.

Perhaps dozens of cars torched by “misguided youths”, rapes, swiming pool sex assaults, news crew attacks, grenade attacks and government funded sex courses to teach migrants that 14 is just too young, aren’t sitting well with Swedes who may regret following their “feminist” government in welcoming over 400,000 people from countries and cultures not exactly known for their embrace of feminism.

What’s more, Sweden’s Social Democrats have been criticized by “average wage-earners, pensioners and first-time voters” who now accuse Prime Minister Stefan Lofven of imperiling the country’s cherished welfare state by welcoming a flood of asylum seekers who are seen “as an economic and cultural threat,” according to Stockholm University sociology professor Jens Rydgren.

“The balance of power has shifted, because of the EU, globalisation and digitalisation, and the Social Democrats are no longer able to keep their promises,” Sweden’s paper of reference Dagens Nyheter wrote recently. –AFP via France 24

A poll by Sifo has the Sweden Democrats, led by Jimmie Åkesson, ahead of the Moderates by 1 point, while Ipsos has the Moderates ahead by the same amount.

Prime Minister Stefan Lofven’s Social Democrats, who have dominated Swedish politics since the 1930s, will remain the biggest party in the country but likely with a record low score, polls suggest.

Superbug Spreads Across Hospitals in at Least 10 Nations Worldwide

University of Melbourne researchers have discovered a superbug, resistant to all known antibiotics, which can cause “severe” infections or even death.

So far, the researchers have uncovered three variants of the bug in samples from 10 countries.

"We started with samples in Australia but did a global snapshot and found that it's in many countries and many institutions around the world," Ben Howden, director of the university's Microbiological Diagnostic Unit Public Health Laboratory, told AFP Sunday.

"It seems to have spread."

The bacteria — called Staphylococcus epidermidis — is related to Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus (MRSA), which is caused by a type of staph bacteria that has also become resistant to many antibiotics on the market.

Staphylococcus epidermidis is part of the normal human flora and is typically found on human skin. It usually infects the elderly or people who have implanted prosthetics, including catheters and joint replacements.

"Catheters and other implanted devices are frequently impregnated with antibiotics as a strategy to prevent infection, however this approach may be promoting the development of resistance," Howden noted, according to a Monday University of Melbourne press release

The researchers, who studied Staphylococcus epidermidis specimens from 78 hospitals around the world, noticed that some strains of the bug have DNA mutations which have allowed them to become resistant to two common antibiotics used to treat such infections — rifampicin and vancomycin. The researchers' results have recently been published in the Nature Microbiology journal.

"These two antibiotics are unrelated, and you would not expect one mutation to cause both antibiotics to fail," said Jean Lee, a PhD student at Melbourne's Doherty Institute, who was also involved in the research. The researchers believe that the superbug arose as the result of prevalent use of antibiotics in intensive care units.

Therefore, they suggest that treatment guidelines be revised.

"We know what we're currently doing is just leading to more resistance," Howden said in the University of Melbourne press release.

"So, we urgently need to think about what we should be recommending instead. There is an urgent need for an international monitoring system to understand the prevalence and impact of Staphylococcus epidermidis and to systematically measure antibiotic resistance and infections due to this pathogen."

Public masturbation – they call it “Orgasmic Meditation” or “OM” – is what distinguishes this group. According to some, for women members who get deeply involved – there is also the horrifying specter of the descent into glorified prostitution – becoming an escort – but with a twist: They are prostitutes who are not paid.

It seems that men and couples hire OneTaste women to live in their homes and be their private whores, paying as much as $10,000 per month for the woman’s sexual services – but the woman does not get the money.

OneTaste does – according to a source familiar with their secret practices.

So why does the prostitute not get paid? Because she is a student of OneTaste and owes so much money to the cult – for courses – that the money earned for her sex services is absorbed to pay off debt for classes to OneTaste.

Sound familiar?

According to a source, a woman goes from one wealthy ‘John” [sometimes a John and Jane ] to another and another and lives with them for a month. The Johns pay $10,000 for the month, the woman gets nothing – the cult gets it all.

The woman becomes dead broke, dependent on the cult for arranging her to have another place to live when the month is up – where she trades sex for course work, while the cult rakes in money from the Johns [wealthy students.]

Another source told me that Russian and Turkish men may be involved and that some women might be traveling overseas to perform [learn] more about the secret teachings of OneTaste – and who knows – may never return.

Of course, OneTaste CEO co-founder Nicole Daedone would likely disagree with my sources’ assessments. She has said she sees herself as the leader of the “slow sex movement,” one that places emphasis on women’s pleasure.

She teaches – for a fee – highly advanced lessons on sexuality and offers women and men a chance to become coaches and recruit others into the group to learn her sublime teachings.

She’s claimed in interviews that OM aims to “free women from sexual inequality and collective female trauma,” and hopes OneTaste will “go into the belly of the beast and begin to heal this trauma about misused sexuality” while speaking of the need for women empowerment.
