Oh, how I wish! Ugh, age.
Hope you find some great new colleagues, DIA
A few old-anon tips to share, on the off chance they're not well known:
Remind research/analysis trainees to hit up CyndisList.com for the sizeable quantity of well-indexed open source rabbit holes there, as well as FamilySearch.org, with which your LDS employees will already be familiar. Same with Ancestry.com and Newspapers.com. International records are acquired and added continually. Crumbs helpful to almost everyone can be found there. Oh, and get someone in to teach them how to research property transfer & tax records available online, although some will require a trip to a court house. And there's no substitute for a thoroughly constructed timeline. Weave the names & info together with the financial & criminal background you guys can get, and POOF, pretty complete picture, good enough for anybody's boss.
Right, old genealogist nerd signing off.
Ya'll be good.
