Interesting metaphor! The dangerous thing about about surgical interventions and cancer is not the scar. It's that the removal of the tumor is rarely 100%. Some of the cancer cells remain and are likely to spread to other parts of the body, potentially causing an even more dire situation for the patient.

So, if the cancer can be treated or even contained with less invasive measures, that's usually preferable.

It would be absolutely devastating to learn that a less invasive treatment were available, yet the oncologist insisted on surgical removal, and now you also have cancer in your brain and spine, because the cells migrated.

Didn't this take place around the time a wave of "we must take to the streets and get violent"-Anons showed up?

I thought that was kind of odd, since up to that point there really wasn't any push for violence.

LUCKILY, the vast majority of Anons responded to those calls for violence with "What the fuck is wrong with you, Butthole".
