  1. It's not "sooper expensive." most lodges have dues of $100/yr or less. I spend more than that on my shooting range membership and NRA fees.

 

  1. No, I'm not feeling any pressure because nothing goes on at lodge. Basically every meeting I've ever been to is standard business meeting format. Old business, new business, treasurers report, announcements, etc. Boring shit.

  1. I've broken the oaths several times here because we're all anons and when it comes down to it, none of it means much to me anyway. I joined the masons for a while because I needed something specific from them. I got it and left soon after.

The potlucks are kinda open to the public except they aren't announced and non-masons are usually invited by members. However, as you aren't supposed to talk Masonic shit with non masons, the whole idea of the dinner being "masonic" is fucking stupid. Plus in my state, they don't invite you to the lodge to introduce yourself until initiation.
