Brazilian Presidential Candidate Jair Bolsonaro Stabbed at Campaign Event
Brazilian far-right candidate for president Jair Bolsonaro was stabbed in the abdomen during a parade in the city Juiz de Fora Thursday. The wound is reportedly superficial.
A journalist at the parade only feet in front of Bolonsaro, captured the attack on video.
Bolonsaro, who was caught by supporters as he fell, was quickly whisked away in an SUV, further video indicated. His son later said on Twitter that the wound was superficial and his father was doing fine.
A recent poll by the Brazilian Institute of Public Opinion and Statistics (IBOPE) showed Bolonsaro in a very narrow lead over other candidates in next month's election, but predicted he would lose in a subsequent runoff election, Reuters reported.

Trump Attorney Wrecks Kamala Harris' Attack On Kavanaugh
In a statement given to CNBC, attorney Marc Kasowitz, who has represented Donald Trump, crunched the attack on Wednesday from Senator Kamala Harris on Judge Brett Kavanaugh, dismissing claims that Kavanaugh had spoken to members of Kasowitz’s firm about the Mueller investigation.
A spokesman for Kasowitz informed CNBC regarding the firm, Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP, "There have been no discussions regarding Robert Mueller's investigation between Judge Kavanaugh and anyone at our firm.”
After Harris had badgered Kavanaugh on Wednesday as to whether he had spoken to someone at Kasowitz's firm about the issue, Wednesday night, while wanting to remain anonymous, aides to Harris had told CNBC they had "reason to believe that a conversation happened and are continuing to pursue it." On Thursday morning, at the hearing for his nomination to the Supreme Court, Kavanaugh said, "I don't recall any conversations of that kind with anyone at that law firm.”
When confronted with the statement from Kasowitz, Harris' office would not offer comment, although Harris did respond when a CNN reporter asked her about the statement:
As CNBC reported, “Mark Corallo, a former spokesman for Kasowitz, said that while he worked with Kasowitz through July 2017, he had never seen Kavanaugh mix with his team. ‘Never in my three months had anyone mentioned Brett Kavanaugh's name and not since, either,’ Corallo said.”

MS-13 Gang Members, Criminals Embedding in Record Number of Illegal Alien Family Units Pouring Over Rio Grande Valley Border in Texas
MS-13 members and other criminals are embedding themselves among a record number of “family units” pouring over the Rio Grande Valley sector of the Texas border with Mexico following the uproar and reversal of President Donald Trump’s efforts to curtail human trafficking and illegal immigration at the southern border. Trump was attacked by Democrats, the media, open border activists and the courts for holding adults for criminal and deportation processing apart from minors found with them at the border.

Recent press releases by the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector indicate how out of control is the border.
Also, a report Wednesday by local KVEO-TV featured the Border Patrol stating the problem in the Rio Grande Valley is worse than the flood of illegal alien families in 2014 under the Obama administration.
The Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector is reporting a record number of illegal family migrations from Central American countries. The previous record was set back in 2014.
At sector headquarters in Edinburg agents say those are record breaking numbers. However, what is more concerning is the influx of criminals trying to get into the country illegally.
Agent Marcelino Medina says, “What we consider threats in the mix, we continue to see gang members, criminal aliens inside these groups trying to disguise themselves among the family units and unaccompanied children.”…
…Recently, in two separate incidents, Border Patrol agents apprehended 150 individuals comprised of family units and unaccompanied children all from Central American countries. Agents say it’s these large groups that concern them because of individuals trying to hide their criminal identities.

North Carolina hit with subpoena for millions of voter records by federal officials investigating fraud
Federal immigration officials have subpoenaed more than 20 million documents related to voter records in North Carolina as part of an investigation into alleged fraud.
The official request is “the most exhaustive on record” for election officials, North Carolina State Board of Elections and Ethics Enforcement (NCSBE) attorney Josh Lawson said to the assistant U.S. attorney named on the subpoena in an email, which was provided to Fox News.
The request comes just weeks after Justice Department officials charged 19 foreign nationals with illegal voting in North Carolina in the 2016 election. The cases are also being investigated by the Immigration and Custom Enforcements (ICE) agency.
The defendants – from numerous countries, including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Nigeria and Germany – were accused of filing a false claim of citizenship in order to vote or illegal voting.
The subpoena request, which state officials say impedes their efforts to get ready for November elections, asks for more than 15 million documents in North Carolina’s voter registration database as well as more than 5.6 million individual ballots from 44 counties, according to data provided to Fox News by the NCSBE.
Specifically, the subpoena requests of the counties: “Any and all poll books, e-poll books, voting records, and/or voter authorization documents, and executive official ballots (including absentee official ballots), that were submitted to, filed by, received by, and/or maintained by the [specific county's board of elections] from August 30, 2013 through August 30, 2018.”
And of the state board of elections: “Any and all voter registration applications and/or other documents, as identified below, that were submitted to, filed by, received by, or maintained by the North Carolina State Board of Elections from January 1, 2010 through August 30, 2018, within any of the counties in North Carolina.”
The state has a deadline of Sept. 25 to comply with the subpoena request, although Assistant U.S. Attorney Sebastian Kielmanovich indicated county board officials could apply for an extension.
“We are deeply concerned by the administrative drain on county boards of elections in order to comply with the extensive subpoenas immediately prior to a federal election, including the necessary reproduction of millions of documents (all ballots, etc.),” Lawson said in his letter.
“Responding to the subpoena will impose an unreasonable burden upon the staff of each county subpoenaed, and it is difficult to believe that it will be possible to review the vast quantity of requested materials before the general election,” Wake County Commissioner John D. Burns said in a letter to U.S. Attorney Robert Higdon.
