Burt Reynolds died at 82

If he's a good guy. I hope he rests in peace. I certainly enjoyed his movies. And we could do with more of his fun, clean and healthy movies.

Does anyone else share the 'feeling' that 82 seems awfully young?

In the UK we were taught in schools that our ancestors lived shorter lives than we do. We were told that people were lucky to live into their forties. I never bought that. Obviously a lie. Accepting that our ancestors died young would make dying at our current age acceptable.
