I wish they would do these hearings in private. Seriously, it's nothing more than a bunch of virulent pussbucket politicians trying to grandstand for the next Presidential election. I've heard one interesting thing about Kavanaugh–that he was against the Consumer Financial Protection Board because it was run by a director instead of a committee. Besides that, nothing but insufferable, phony Dems trying to out-virtue-signal each other. It's like the View, but they get to make the laws.
This article kind of puts everything into a nutshell re: the CFPB. If Elizabeth Warren is panicking, odds are good it's because of this. Remember that she proposed its existence before she was even elected. Like all things with Democrats, they say it's needed for moral reasons, then they use it to shake businesses down for money. Once this thing gets sunshine, she's toast.
