Feuds between gangs of young men have led to soaring numbers of shootings and stabbings in London

Maps circulated online show the territories of the more than 200 gangs in the capital's north, east and south

They reveal why certain streets have become flashpoints, with different sides of some roads held by rivals

Detailed maps lay bare how more than 200 gangs are locked in bitter fights for control of London's streets.

 

More than 100 people have been killed in the capital already this year, with fears gang rivalries and feuds are leading to spiralling numbers of shootings and stabbings.

 

Maps circulated online have now attempted to plot the extent of each gang's fiefdom and flash-point roads where two territories rub up against each other.

 

The maps show there are around 50 gangs in south London, the most notorious of which are Moscow17 in Kennington, the Ghetto Boys in Deptford and the Woolwich Boys on the banks of the Thames.

if you go to the news story link, they have the interactive map. I clicked on a couple of grey spots, one said Abbey wood boys other was woolwich, and the others all had different names.

 

They should have used a distinct color for each gang.

You will have to look at click on one closest to where you lived, to see which gang it is.
