Man standing behind Trump at Montana campaign rally stole the show before he was moved away

 

An audience member had some colorful reactions to President Donald Trump's speech at a campaign rally in Billings, Montana on Thursday.

The unidentified man made several facial expressions as the president delivered his remarks.

A woman later approached the man mid-speech and briefly spoke to him before taking his spot in the crowd.

Normally they vet people carefully to get those choice seats that will be in the TV frame. Obviously this time they did a suboptimal job.

 

However, if you look at a really wide shot of the event, you will see the angle of the TV camera for the main feed was not straight on, it seemed to be slightly coming in from POTUS' left side. The people in question were actually way, way behind him to his right. It was a very large area but the camera made it look like they could have hit him with a spitball if they wanted. They appear to have been about 60 or 80 feet back.

Perhaps the organizers did not realize what angle the TV cameras would be seeing the podium from.
