maybe it's just me but the very first thing that sprang to my mind was the FBI probe into corruption in college sports. ie the basketball/shoe company probe. You would have to be deaf and blind to think Nike will not be implicated in that at some point..maybe they're salty. Maybe they are trying to get ahead of it, but all sports fans already know.
Smells like a play to maintain influence of the sports minded vote… to use brand loyalty to boost the dems
