Taking to Bored Panda, the users uploaded snaps of the moment they realised their house was a treasure trove of things left over by previous owners.

While some discovered secret trap doors to forgotten basements and even tunnels, others uncovered diamond rings and old coins left in hidden spots by past residences.

Among the discoveries was a Monopoly-themed floor underneath a carpet and even an eighteenth century cemetery underneath a building.
