The concept of throttling was perfected by them.
During the disc phase of NFLX if you were on, say a 3 out at a time plan, you would never get more than 6 movies in a 30 day time period.
The algos for the postal sorters were all designed to throw 'curves' at a heavy user. Anything after 6 movies in a month and you were throttled.
Don't get me started about it's interface. That cumbersome POS is it's achilles heel imo. But it's also designed that way.
All I am saying is that NFLX has remained virtually unscathed, save a drop in it's already inflated share price. You don't have that BOD and not have some 'special' arrangements. You also don't have the CFO depart and have it be a blip in the share price either…..well it used to be that way but is not now. Not as unique as I might make it seem.
