Brett Kavanaughās confirmation hearings this week; saying he āwouldnāt be surprisedā if there was an ethics inquiry into his bizarre antics.
I have really two words to say to Mitch McConnell if he wants to do ethics charges ā bring it!
McConnell was speaking with radio host Hugh Hewitt when he was asked to comment on Bookerās repeated assertions that he was ābreaking the rulesā by intentionally leaking Kavanaughās confidential emails.
āWhen you break the Senate rules, itās something the Ethics Committee could take a look at. And that would be up to them to decide. But itās routinely looked at [by] the Ethics Committee,ā McConnell said. āThey have an obligation to look into violations of the Senate rules, and it wouldnāt surprise me if they did.ā
Booker fired back at McConnell over the possible ethics investigation, telling the leading Republican to ābring it!ā
