The List: Obama Lied Repeatedly During His Friday Speech and His Democrat Audience Applauded Like Monkeys
Barack Obama trashed President Trump today in his public speech in Chicago, Illinois.
Obama forgot to talk about the murder rate in the city for the past ten years.
Obama claimed the Trump economic miracle was his doing.
Then Obama claimed his policies brought about several economic successes.
So we worked hard to end that crisis but also to break some of these longer term trends. The actions we took during that crisis returned the economy to healthy growth and initiated the longest streak of job creation on record. And we covered another 20 million Americans with health insurance and cut our deficits by more than half, partly by making sure that people like me who have been given such amazing opportunities by this country pay our fair share of taxes to help folks coming up behind me.
And by the time I left office, household income was near its all-time high, and the uninsured rate hit an all-time low, poverty rates were falling. I mention this just so when you hear how great the economy is doing right now, let’s just remember when this recovery started. I’m glad it’s continued, but when you hear about this economic miracle that’s been going on, when the job numbers come out, monthly job numbers and suddenly Republicans are saying it’s a miracle, I have to kind of remind them, actually, those job numbers are the same as they were in 2015 and 2016 and — anyway. I digress.
Just those two paragraphs were riddled with lies.
Let’s break them down.
1.) The crisis returned the economy to healthy growth.
Truth: Obama was the first president in history to not have a single year of 3.0% GDP growth.
2.) We covered another 20 million Americans with health insurance.
Truth: Obamacare covered 21 million but 28 million Americans remained uninsured. It was a failed government boondoggle that ruined US health industry.
3.) We cut our deficits by half.
Truth: The last Bush deficit was over $400 billion. Obama immediately increased the deficit by a trillion dollars. It was at $600 billion when he left office.
4.) Job numbers are the same.
Truth: Manufacturing jobs are up by 400,000 under President Trump. Obama lost 303,000 manufacturing jobs as president.

Former CIA Chief Warns of 'Looming Disaster' Inside Trump White House
Former CIA Director John Brennan, who had his security clearance revoked by the Trump administration in mid August, said on NBC's "The Today Show" that he sees "all the warning signs of a looming disaster" at the White House.
"Clearly, things are reaching a boiling point" the former director said. “What happens in the days, weeks and months ahead is going to determine just how much damage will be done to this country.”
Brennan said that he viewed the act of an anonymous "senior official" of the administration writing an opinion piece detailing a cabal of rogue officials working to undermine the president's agenda as "certainly courageous."
US law defines a "seditious conspiracy" as when "two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof."
While the anonymous official is presumed innocent until proven guilty, he wrote in the New York Times that "there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president."
Trump publicly wondered whether the author is guilty of treason on Twitter in the wake of the publishing of the article, then the following day at a rally in Montana said that the New York Times had committed treason. However, US law defines treason as when someone "owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere," which does not appear to apply to either the article publishers nor its author.

Dulles Airport Surprises Passengers with Facial-Recognition Boarding
Some international travelers can leave their boarding passes and passports in their pockets when flying out of Dulles International Airport thanks to a new facial recognition boarding technology that went into operation Thursday.
The new veriScan system developed by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority—with guidance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection—scans the faces of travelers approaching the gate. The system then compares the photo to a gallery that includes images of that person—either their passport photo for U.S. citizens or the photo taken of foreign nationals when they entered the country. The process eliminates the need for an airline employee to manually check every boarding pass and passport while boarding a plane.
The scan takes fractions of a second and has shown to be 99 percent accurate during testing, according to CBP Commissioner John McAleenan, who was joined by MWAA President Jack Potter and airline representatives for an unveiling event Thursday.
CBP had been keeping the photos for up to 14 days during testing, and will continue to keep them for up to 12 hours for the short term, said John Wagner, CBP deputy assistant commissioner for the Office of Field Operations. When testing is complete, the process will be updated so photos are deleted immediately after the comparison, he said.

Militants Shelling Kills Several Women and Children In Northern Hama
On September 7, nine civilians, most of whom are women and children, were killed and twenty others were injured when several rockets hit the Christian town of Mahardah in the northern Hama countryside, according to Syrian pro-government sources.
The National Defense Forces (NDF) revealed that cluster rockets were used in the attack, which explains the higher than usually death toll.
Syrian opposition sources said that the al-Qaeda-affiliated Ansar al-Tawhid group claimed responsibility for the attack on Mahardah. However, pro-government activists said that Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Jaysh al-Izza were behind the shelling.
In response to the brutal attack, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) artillery and rocket launchers shelled several positions of militants in the opposition-held part of the northern Hama countryside.
The upcoming hours will likely witness a heaver response by the Russian Airspace Forces because the shelling is considered a dangerous violation of the de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria. Some pro-government activists even argued that the attack may provoke the long-awaited operation of the SAA in the region.
