It seems that John Lasseter fashioned the entire Toy Story franchise and Pixar Love Lounge interior design on a very disturbing Horror flick that released the same year he founded Pixar. The film is called CRAWLSPACE.
Now you know why each Toy Story film depicts the toys running around in crawlspaces and ventilation shafts! The film is so disturbing that I can't even describe it to you without punishment from YT. But, here it is, right on their server.
