Everyone with a gaming system, computer, smart phone, home security system, blue tooth enabled light bulbs, Furby, etc. is under surveillance.

And not necessarily by the "gubment".

Creepy at first and there IS eventually a certain degree of "Welp, fuck it, I guess"-style freedom.

Or maybe it's just me?

Did someone say "containers"?!?!

May I take a moment of your time to share with you some information about containers?!

Containers are very useful. AND portable.

Thank you so much for your time. :)

Not confident that it was Q - seeeeem to recall it as being R.

Something was mentioned about a location in MD, wasn't it?

UT has an epic data center and a few other things, yet what comes to mind is Weather Mountain. Or Mount Weather?

Re: Port procedures:

A cargo container can have the "immunity" from standard customs procedures, depending on who owns it/controls it.

So, in essence it takes on the same "immunity" from inspection as the packets used to deliver, say, a PDB. No one can look into the contents.

Containers can also be made into SCIFs - complete with all of the stuff that makes a SCIF a SCIF. And they are so very portable.

If YOU wanted a SCIF, fwiw, you may be able to obtain one. Or a dozen. Or so.
