Interesting thought. AI only as good as the developer who wrote it/the input that it gets.
Why not just "turn it off". They would be completely lost?
If you let it keep running but don't change the input - or give it no new input or just the "as if she won" input - it never knows it is going in the wrong direction.
It would explain why the direction the left is taking is becoming increasingly more bizarre. Either people like Clinton are following the AI's script ("Women will bear brunt of Climate change. Be forced to lead migrations and collect fire wood" - in extreme heat? Firewood? Really?) OR some of the people (not as smart as they think they are) are following the same pattern as the AI and doing/saying things as if Clinton had actually won. They cannot switch gears, just like the AI cannot switch gears.
