Are Florida Anons Paying Attention???

The motivation of this bill is obviously to keep Dem judges on Florida Supreme Court and it's bundled with legislation that gives rights to victims of crimes. Pretty disgusting politics if you ask me.

Baker should definitely make notable. Florida is an important state especially since it's a swing state for elections.

If a Democrat Gov is elected he would only have to appoint one democratic judge to replace the republican judge whose term expires in 2019 whilst the others 3 Democrat judges terms expire by age disqualification but possibly if that bill passes it may extend their terms.

Or if a republican gets elected governor the dems may be trying to use this bill to stop the appointment of 3 or 4 more republican judges.

Definitely something is up with that bill I'm sure the dems are just trying to keep seats on the SC in Florida.

So obviously the reason their terms are ending is because their age will disqualify them in 2019
