POTUS saying SHUTDOWN seems like a threat that is bigger than Dems will be blamed. He met with Chuck Schumer and poof the shutdown ended. Does anyone know the powers of the President in the event of a shutdown? I believe he can slip in appointments but I'm wondering about the Court system and any arrests that took place during a shutdown. I'm wondering if some could fall under the military jurisdiction in the case of a shutdown
If our President is going to be questioned by a Special Counsel that has unlimited powers and a cloud hanging over the investigation, He needs to provide the American people with a good faith showing for 'Just Cause' I think we should demand that.
