Purdue pharma deliberatly, knowingly marked a timed release oxycodone formulation called "oxycontin" as a safe non-addictive pain killer for routine use by dentist and general practiioners. Purdue did this knowing oxycontin was highly addictive.
They made billions of dollars selling Oxycontin which is every bit as addictive as any other opiate drug, including heroin.

Purdue Pharma no longer makes oxycontin. They have liscensed their patent to others - do they still manufacture it? Who buys the high thebaine poppies from the Sackler's Tasmanian plantations?
Purdue and the Sacklers are responsible for the destruction of millions of lives. They must sponsor a nationawide addiction remediation program using any of the technolgies known effective in the treatment of addiction.
