Exercising this power requires good judgment.

Most have it, but there are too many who don't.

We must strive for perfection here, giving the officer the benefit of the doubt, but when a law enforcement officer exercises blatant poor judgment (or worse), it needs to addressed promptly.

Otherwise they are no different that the corrupt FBI/DOJ people who hide behind the system that we're trying to remove now.

Transparency & promptly dealing with problems = public confidence.

Nobody has a monopoly on virtue.
