Anyone who has been paying attention has known Jones is a fraud for many, many years. This was their last attempt to be able to try and make him have some cred by getting people to feel bad for him. It doesn't help the situation that its a free speech issue as well. Of course people will stand up to protect free speech, even Jarheads. So it's accomplishing more than one thing, but it's an epic fail for those who are already well informed as to the kabuki.
