‘Several ambulances are on their way to Auckland Airport following calls about illness on a Trans-Tasman flight.
Passengers on the Virgin Australia flight VA167 from Melbourne are being screened individually, and the healthy travellers are being let through.
A St John spokesperson says they were called just after 3:30pm, and sent six vehicles.
Nothing is know yet about the nature of the illness, nor how many people are afflicted.
More to come.
