>If Q was a larp
I see this a lot in this forum and since it's dead right now and I'm bored as shit, I'm going to try to explain something hopefully useful.
The timeline in your head is "Q is not a larp". This timeline goes into the past. The way to refer to something on your "timeline" is "was", so you would say "Q was not a larp".
However, when you add "if" plus something you believe to not be true, you change "was" -"were". So you should have said:
>If Q were a larp
This communicates quickly to the reader that you're looking backwards down a timeline that you believe to be true, and considering a hypothetical branch off of it that you consider not to be true. Sorry if this comes off as excessively autistic.
