How normal is it for a C-130 to land at a regional civilian airport WITH escort?
Asking b/c There's at least three MIL bases nearby (within 100MI) that would be better suited, IMO.

Fighters with twin tail feathers, for certain.

I doubt it though, especially when I factor in that Irma pretty much came DIRECTLY over GNV last year and we didn't see/hear anything like this.
Not trying to be a not-it-all, but my retired Marine Corp buddy lives within two miles of GNV and keeps up on this kind of crap.

But, like I said, there's at least three actual MIL bases within like 15m flight time from GNV.
Really makes no sense to me when the above is the case.
