Not in Oregon or Illinois. Oregon Supreme Court said it isn't their problem since pot is regulated at the federal level. Lying on the 4473 isn't Oregon's problem and the way the law is written, it excludes MM cardholders from the "drug user" prohibition. And the Illinois program only makes it so you can't actually TRANSFER a gun via a dealer. Can buy one privately, since those aren't governed by federal law, but absolutely no FFL transfers. Possessing a firearm is a federal crime even with a card, but not state crime with one. They issue CCLs in Illinois to MM cardholders. It's a state issue. Only speaking for OR and IL.

As my late grandfather used to say, south and west of Chicago is a beautiful state called Illinois. Hopefully a lot of the indictments filed in the Central District of Illinois are for Chicago swamp creatures (ILCD has jurisdiction over Springfield, Springfield is where the fuckery occurs).
