For years I couldn't fathom what would make so many people jump. last year with the London high rise fire, a woman threw her baby out to the crowd below, then walked back into the smoke/fire to die. Most would just breathe in the smoke and die from smoke inhalation.
I finally understood when considering DEW's. They were being microwaved. Like a fish out of water, the body just reacts to get away from the pain of being cooked inside/out.
