Any one of us could have manually pre-solved the once-per-day captcha and pre-composed a post, and sat ready to submit the pre-composed post while camping POTUS’ twitter feed awaiting a new tweet. This would have resulted in a “post delta” (as opposed to a “pre delta”) of approximately ten seconds, as we observed earlier today. A more technically-sophisticated anon could have achieved an even smaller “post delta” using automation.

Lastly—at this scale of delta analysis and as a prerequisite—we necessarily need to take potential clock drift into consideration since every second counts; we need to have either proven that timestamps from Twitter and timestamps from 8ch are comparable, or we need to have quantified the clock drift so that the clock drift can be normalized for comparisons. For example, if Twitter thinks noon is 12:00:05 and 8ch thinks noon is 11:59:55, then a hypothetical POTUS tweet tweeted at noon appears on Twitter timestamped as 12:00:05, and a hypothetical Q post posted at noon-plus-one-second appears on 8chan timestamped as 11:59:56. This would mean that even though POTUS actually posted first, it would falsely appear that Q posted considerably before POTUS.
