Not a Dig but just Atmospherics (no pun intended)

Noticing in the MSM today that headlines were primarily focused on SC for the most part. Overall impact of the hurricane to SC in comparison to NC (at this point in time) is….well, it dont take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Point being, I recall the CA fires and them asking for dollars. Well, we all know why of course. Question I have is falls in line with why SC being in the main headlines while NC locals are asking for help?

6:25 p.m.: Officials ask president for Emergency Declaration

The 15 members of the North Carolina congressional delegation sent a letter to President Trump asking him to grant a request from Gov. Roy Cooper to have a federal Emergency Declaration made for the state.

“An Emergency Declaration will provide the needed assistance to the state and local communities to allow them to properly prepare for the effects of Hurricane Florence,” the letter says.

If the president approves the request, federal aid would be available to help the local and state emergency response.
