Timothy said-
'Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the Faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons…'
They are following the doctrine of demons, in taking the Power away from the Name of Jesus. They are teaching that there is no Power in His Name, that you must use some other name, a name with no Power.
I have witnessed the true, absolute Power of the Name of Jesus Christ. demons flee when this Name is spoken. They do not flee from any other name, only when they hear the Name of Jesus Christ.
As it is Written-
'The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your Name!” '
'Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour.'
'But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?”'
They want to take away the Power of believers, by teaching another name, other than the Name of Jesus Christ. And for this, they will receive the curse that is Written-
'But even if we or an Angel from Heaven should preach to you a Gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.'
