I only cited what Jesus said. His words have made it pretty clear that it is not my job to decide who he can or can’t “save”.
He “saved” me from this world when he took the bitterness that was destroying my life. When he replaced my fear with courage. He saved me when he spoke worth into me after being raised as pretty much invisible. He saved me from trusting only in government or doctors. He “saves” me all the time.
It just seems dangerous to put yourself in a position to decide such huge things for him.
It is apparent that the Bible scholars that knew the Bible front to back, even got it wrong, seeing as they crucified the one they claimed to be waiting for. Do you really think the second time around won’t be like the first?
We can’t go wrong when we follow the simple command of, “Treat others the way you would want to be treated.”
