Vladimir Putin went to the opening of a new mosque in Tatarstan, and gave a speech in the mosque in the Tatar language.
But they come down very hard on any muslim terrorists using paramilitary police and special forces equipped with the best and most advanced weapons in the world, and they do not piss around with psychologists and negotiations.
As a result most Russian muslim terrorists ran off an joined ISIS. This must have been a 5D chess plan because soon after, Assad invited Russia into Syria. There Russia trained thousands of Muslim soldiers, went into battle with them and kicked Daesh asses again and again and again with the most advanced military weapons in the world.

Because both countries are ruled by the aboriginal peoples of their respective lands, and many of those aboriginals chose Islam very soon after Mohammed started to preach it.
Putin regularly says positive things about Islam and the need to support TRADITIONAL religion. Because, the thing is, that the traditional Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Pagans and even Jews of Russia, all support the same things. Peace, opportunity, and family.
The radical fundamentalists in Christianity and Islam and Buddhism and Hinduism all support Communism and the destruction of traditional society. The Christian picture is less clear than Islam, but look at Catholics who now openly promote Communism, or the Scofield bible churches of the USA who are always involved in weird stuff, empire building, moving around lots of cash. That is not traditional religion.
Trump is a very smart guy, and he can see where Putin, another very smart guy, has got the right idea. And as a businessman in a competitive environment, he knows that you cannot afford to reject good ideas because your competitor thought of it first. On the contrary, to compete at your best level, you have to borrow ALL of the best of your competitions ideas. And that is what he is doing right now. He is setting up a win-win situation for all parties. Except for the Cabal who had their chance and blew it.
