A lot of suspicious fires have started here in the last three weeks. The firefighters took them deadly serious. Now, tonight we have one in one of the most beautiful redwood grove in the world. And it is only ten percent contained. We need some good wishes. We have been dreading this day.

Two young men lost their lives in the same spot two years ago, boys I had known since they were children. And I have incredible memories of that redwood park. This is a significant fire.
